Eagle Transmission is a system for your mountain bike drive train that sets new standards in function and reliability. All components are built around the constant point of every bike - the center of the wheel. All unnecessary parts have been eliminated in order to carry out the elementary functions to perfection. The T-Type system is precisely matched to ensure perfect function and is not compatible with existing, older Eagle drives.

The XX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur fundamentally optimizes the function between cassette and rear derailleur. Developed as integrated, interdependent drivetrain components, the T-Type rear derailleur mounts around the wheel axle using a novel mounting interface. The groundbreaking full-mount attachment method creates a unique, stable connection and is supported on both sides of the frame for optimal shifting precision.
In addition, the new rear derailleurs have the intuitive coupling and adjustment process that you already know from the existing SRAM Eagle AXS components. The proven overload clutch and a flat profile protect against damage by the rear derailleur slipping inwards under the chainstay. Thanks to its innovative design, the tensioning roller, the Magic Wheel, continues to turn even if an object gets stuck in it and can thus protect against defects. In addition, the XX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur features additional weight-saving cutouts in its aluminum cage and an elegant black B-knuckle cover.

NOTE: Contrary to the illustration, the rear derailleur is supplied without a battery. A frame with UDH interface is absolutely necessary for assembly! The rear derailleur is NOT compatible with existing Eagle drives!
